Since 1978, the Taranaki Radio Control Car Club has brought excitement to the region, welcoming enthusiasts of all ages. For the last two Americarnival events, the club has set up a popular display and race area, thrilling spectators with high-speed action and
impressive maneuverer.

They run fortnightly on-road and off-road races, with both Nitro and Electric classes, giving members plenty of opportunities to compete and sharpen their skills. Whether you’re curious about the sport, looking for a new hobby, or just want to watch the action, the Taranaki RC Club is a fun and welcoming place for everyone.

Members of the public whose children have RC cars are welcome to bring them into town on Saturday and have a run on the oval the club sets up. Times are 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.

SuperCheap Auto will also have some spot prizes
to hand out to a few lucky children.
