Newsletter 13 December 2018

Hi All,
Judging by the traffic build-up the Christmas rush/crazy period has started!

On a completely different note, finding decent headers is an issue I’ve had trouble with.  After much searching I’ve found a company that builds extremely nice headers.

The photos are of an engine we have to go into a 56 Chevy Pickup.  Check out the pipework.  So, if anyone is looking for decent headers, particularly for Chevy LT1/LT4 engines, drop me an email with engine and car details/info and we will happily supply you a price.

Some other exciting news is Ken Hopper and Mark are bringing the twin engine dragster to Americarna 2019 to join Karl Bonniface and Dave Gould with a demonstration run in Hawera on the Friday.  They also intend to run up Devon Street at the Friday night cruise with engines running!  This will go well with the crowd in the CBD.

Don’t forget to register to be part of the Street Drags (it’s free) in Hawera.  It’s the Go without the Stop this year.  Email nadine@americarna.com with DRAGS in the subject line.  Send your name, car details and plate details and entrant registration number, if you can remember it.

Rest Home Run
The residents in the New Plymouth Rest Homes are looking forward to the Americarna Cars visiting them, and the lucky few who get to go for a ride in the American Cars.
Please register your interest to visiting the Rest Homes to show your cars off and making someones day.
email nadine@americarna.com with REST HOME in the subject line.  Send your name, registration number, car details, and if you have a preference of which Rest Home you wish to visit.  We need 120 cars to join in the visits.  The Rest Home run is on the Thursday morning, and returning before the days cruises start.

So until next year, be safe.
Cheers,
JR & Nadine.
