Hi Everyone, I must say the amount of support the event has received both financially and in kind is amazing and we start this week by recognising and acknowledging the following support............
New Plymouth Rodders have offered their help on Friday at the TSB Hub where we are holding the GymCARna. This popular part of AmeriCARna is a combination of time trial and a driving skill event. The Hub car park is transformed using barriers and cones into an obstacle course and the drivers are judged on both time and skill negotiating the cones. Points are deducted for hitting cones and failing to stop on the finish line.
The course is kept wet at all times to add to the skill factor and also helps to protect the asphalt from being damaged.
Thank you NP Rodders!
MECO Engineering Co Ltd confirmed their intention recently to become a BRONZE Sponsor. Ian Lind and his team at MECO have been with us since the beginning and are huge supporters of the event and we thank them sincerely for their ongoing commitment and generosity.
Ian’s ’32 fender less Roadster is well on the way to completion and we are looking forward to seeing that on the road next year. It will be something quite special.
The first of the 2014 AmeriCARna merchandise is starting to arrive with the jackets first to become available. They look GREAT. Smart, warm and practical; they come in sizes XS – XXL. They can been seen on our website by clicking HERE and ordered by emailing Toni at firstname.lastname@example.org
Particular sizes are limited in number so place your order today to save disappointment.
That’s all for now , and remember ….
War does not determine who is right – only who is left ?
