Thursday 25th February

Today is the first ‘Official’ cruise day of the event!

Ladies, today is ‘Fifties Thursday’!  There will be prizes for the best 1950’s look.  We’ll also have other giveaways that will include something just for the passengers.

Departure is scheduled for 12:30pm sharp!  Prior to leaving, there will be an opportunity to purchase your lunch from a selection of food vendors who will be onsite at the Registration Centre.  Bring along your deck chairs and enjoy a casual lunch with friends before we cruise off.  A list of food vendors will be available once we have them confirmed.  Please note:  There is no lunch stop once we depart.  The next available food will be in Inglewood.

We have two destinations today; the first stop will be the New Plymouth airport, via a cruise through Egmont Village and Bell Block.  It’s been a few years but we are heading back to the hanger to check out some of the local aircraft plus you will be treated to a formation fly over by classic fighter planes!

From here its back on the road, headed for Inglewood. The journey there will take us along a route not travelled by entrants from past events. On arrival in Inglewood you can be expected to be welcomed with open arms.  Once parked in the main street it’s time to grab some dinner, enjoy the band and the atmosphere while the locals take the opportunity to check out your pride and joy.

From 8:00pm you can head back to New Plymouth.

Important:  For those who are available, the rest home run will take place in the morning.  You will be contacted closer to the event for your interest to participate.

12:30pm – It’s back on the road again.  This time Hawera is our destination.  We will cruise to the CBD, park up and be treated to some more of the outstanding Taranaki hospitality.
