Head out of New Plymouth

Left onto Paynters Ave
Right onto Heavy traffic overbridge
Merge onto State Highway 3 – heading north
Left at Waitara Turn off – Nelson Street

Right onto W Quay/Parris Street
Left onto Nelson Street
At the SH3 intersection, turn right.

Exit Hāwera onto Argyle Street
Left at Glover Road
Take 3rd exit at roundabout onto State
Highway 3 for Eltham
Left onto Bridge Street/Eltham Road
Right onto Hastings Road
Right onto Opunake Road to Celia Street
Left onto Broadway
Continue on SH3 to New Plymouth
Turn right at SH3 / Mangorei Road intersection
Turn left at Devon Street East

The convoy will reach Devon Street and Hobson Street intersection where they will be directed one of two ways.
LOOP 1
Turn right onto Hobson
Left onto Molesworth Street
Left onto Egmont Street
Left onto Devon to enter the road closure
LOOP 2
Straight onto Devon Street into the road closure
Left onto Robe Street
Left onto Powderham Street/Courtenay Street
Left onto Eliot Street and then left again to continue in the loop

Cruising ends and road opens at 9:30pm.

Saturday New Plymouth CBD Americarnival 10:00am – 3:00pm. From 8:30am to 10:00am - Entrant cars enter the closed road at Eliot Street. From here they will be directed down Devon Street to be parked. Emergency lanes will be allowed for.

Offical road closure in place from 7:00am – 4:00pm.

Devon Street closed from Gover Street – Robe Streets and all side streets in between. Roads to be cleared from 3:00pm.
