Acceleration Display

Hawera activity Acceleration Display is on the Friday 26th February at 2:30pm, Albion Street, Hawera. It’s a fun core thing. We have the streets lined with barriers and fences to keep the public safe but it’s all about normal road cars giving it a blast!

The categories are as follows:
Pre 1950’s
1950 – 1980
1980 – 2000
2001 upwards
At the start line you start on the green light, your time starts when you do. Your time stops once you have completed the run and passed the finish line. Please slow down for the corner and drive around the block, back to the car park to line up for your next run. Objective: To complete the run as quickly as possible. The winner is determined by the fastest time within your category.

We are taking names on a waiting list as from 14/09/2020 as the field is fully subscribed - HOWEVER: if you have a vehicle of interest that may "blow all the other cars away"" , please let me know! Subject Line - We need to talk about the Acceleration Display in Hawera.
