After the recent events in our country, and recent public feedback on the disapproval of the Confederate Flag, we ask the Confederate Flag not be flown or displayed at the Americarna events.
The Americarna event is about the American Vehicles in New Zealand being able to participate in an event where they all cruise and display their vehicles around Taranaki over 4 days of activities. This event is about bringing people together in a festival environment to enjoy time spent together and showcase their vehicles to the public.
We trust the entrants and the spectators appreciate our stance on the expectations around the use of the flags during Americarna.
