We have arranged a fantastic photo opportunity for entrants to have their vehicle photographed by our event Photographer, Mark Bellringer, outside the Len Lye Centre. The reflective exterior of the Len Lye creates a unique backdrop that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
The photo below demonstrates the angle which the photo will be taken.

Tawhiti Museum is located in the South Taranaki area. Widely acclaimed as the best private museum in the country, Tawhiti uses life size exhibits and scale models to present our heritage in a series of super realistic and engaging displays. While we are visiting Hawera on the Friday of the event we are offering 100 entrants the opportunity to visit the main museum for free. So, while your car is parked on display for the public to appreciate you can jump on a bus, one of which is the Mainstream School Bus, and head to Tawhiti Museum to check it out. All free of charge.
First bus will leave at 1:30pm with the second at 2:00pm. Last bus will return from Tawhiti at 4:00pm. You need to allow 1 to 1 ½ hours to view the museum. There is also the Traders and Whalers attraction which is well worth checking out, but at a cost of $10.00 per person.
To book your tickets, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred departure time. First 100 to reply will qualify for free entry. Anyone over and above this will be able to take advantage of the free transport, until all seats are booked out, but will need to pay their own admission into the museum.
For more information on Tawhiti, go to www.tawhitimuseum.co.nz
Entries for the Go-Stop Drags are now open. This will be held during our stop in Hawera, Friday 24 February. For more information on the Go-Stop, click HERE. To register your place, email email@example.com.
